Wedding Anniversary, 2008

Details: Patterned after Richland's famous "Signature Cake", this cake was perfect for our 8th wedding anniversary. It's a 2-layer chocolate cake filled with a generous layer of chocolate pudding and topped with cream cheese icing and a blanket of chocolate ganache. White roses, which also decorate the Signature Cake, were our wedding flowers. I requested that they write "Happy Anniversary, Lorenzo and Renee" with silver icing and dot the white roses with silver "leaves". Yum!
Shared With: our close friend Debye and family, after she graciously watched our kids while we had a one-hour couples massage near her home.

Details: "Pirates of the Caribbean" two-layer chocolate cake with raspberry filling which Troy brought for the last day of school because not all of his classmates will be able to celebrate his birthday with him during the summer.

Details: "tres leches" cake with strawberry mousse filling. "Tres leches" cake is made and infused with three kinds of milk, hence the name.
Trivia: Mommy thought the actual cake was executed better than Raley's' cake, but the writing was so bad, she went to the Manager to insist that the "Happy Birthday Troy" be redone!
